Trails, Sidewalks, and More Trails...
The Princeton Park Board and Rum River Recreation and Resources Board (4R Board) are working together to help make Princeton a more pedestrian and bicycle-friendly community!  Especially to provide connections and links to various destinations inside and outside the community.

Coming soon....

  • The City will be submitting a grant application to pave more trail connections throughout the community, from the Great Northern Trail, along Rum River Drive, then along Northland Drive, through the former railroad bed, and finally up to Mark Park.

Some examples of the programs that have been worked on previously, include:
  • Conducting a bicycle and pedestrian count/survey throughout the community.
  • Creation of a Safe Routes to School Plan with the School District, City, and Mille Lacs County.
  • Receiving a grant to add bicycle racks around the community.
