City Administration

The City Administration Department is here to serve you.  Duties are mainly related to the day-to-day operation of the city and administering the policies and priorities set by the City Council.  Administration offers oversight in many aspects of the municipal services, including personnel, permits, licensing, and elections.  The Princeton City Administration staff includes City Administrator Robert Barbian and City Clerk Shawna Jenkins. City Administration also supervises the City Cemetery, and staffs the City Council meetings.

If you have any questions relating to the operation of the city, feel free to give us a call at 763-389-2040, and we will either answer your question or direct you to someone who can. Our offices are located in the City Hall building at 705 Second Street North.

Robert joined the City of Princeton in November 2017 as the City Administrator.

Shawna Jenkins, City Clerk

Shawna joined the City of Princeton in August of 2012.  She worked for the Isanti County Assessors Office for a brief time and was the Town Clerk for Hassan Township until 2012 when the Township was annexed into the City of Rogers.
